Regulations on Vessel Cleaning
1. GENERAL TERMS
These rules define the standards, procedures, and limitations for providing vessel cleaning services. The purpose is to set realistic expectations and protect against unfounded claims. The client accepts these rules and conditions by agreeing to the offer.
2. STANDARDS OF VESSEL CLEANING
Cleaning levels are defined according to the client's needs.
2.1. Results of Vessel Cleaning and Maintenance
The cleaning standard means a visible improvement in the hygiene and appearance of the vessel in accordance with its actual condition. Factory-level shine or complete removal of all stains (rust, oil, mold, deep stains, oxidation, etc.) is not guaranteed. For materials that are damaged, worn, or porous, the result may be limited and does not depend on the quality of the service performed.
3. LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY
Cleaning does not include repairs, varnishing, sanding, or reconstruction of damaged surfaces.
The Dockyard is not responsible for:
-
Natural aging of materials (gelcoat, wood, plastic, textiles, stainless steel, etc.)
-
Micro-cracks or invisible defects that become visible only after cleaning
-
Items and belongings that the client did not remove from the vessel prior to service
-
Damage resulting from previous unprofessional work by third parties, use of inadequate cleaning agents, or neglect of the vessel
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The client is obliged, before cleaning the vessel, to remove all personal and valuable items, clearly select and confirm the service level, and warn of specific materials and sensitive surfaces.
5. COMPLAINTS
Complaints are accepted exclusively in writing, no later than 24 hours after the vessel is collected. Complaints based on a subjective perception of perfection without concrete evidence will not be considered. A justified complaint (proof that part of the vessel was not cleaned according to the agreed package) will be resolved by re-cleaning that part at no additional cost. A refund is only possible if the service was not performed at all.
6. FINAL PROVISIONS
By accepting the offer, the client confirms that they are familiar with these rules and conditions and fully accept them. The Dockyard reserves the right to refuse cooperation with clients who consistently express unrealistic expectations or insist on perfection beyond the agreed standards.
These rules apply to all cleaning services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
